Movement Coaching is similar to personal training however our focus is on re-educating movement patterns with a strong and stable coreCustomized exercise programs tailored to your body and history, video functional movement assessment and gait analysis, and one-on-one consultation including shoe recommendations to optimize movement efficiency.

WHAT IS A FUNCTIONAL MOVEMENT ASSESSMENT?

Through extensive training, Katie is able to analyze and identify various dysfunctional movement patterns that are the root of your pain. This includes head to toe assessment.

Once we find them, Katie will coach you on how to correct these patterns through various exercises and simple modifications made through your day. She will teach you how bunions form, why hip, knee, and back pain is not a product of genetics, and how our entire posture effects everything we do. 

The goal: Optimize Movement Efficiency and decrease pain.

VIRTUAL ZOOM MEETINGS

Not only will you save time on travel by meeting virtually, I will provide you an exercise and movement routine created specifically for you. Most movements will be worked into your day. You will have access to ME in between sessions with questions and concerns. With a background in Physical Therapy, Personal Training, Movement Training and Ayurveda, Katie can blend the perfect routine to encompass both Mind and Body.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

After a free initial consult, you can book a 75 minute Virtual Movement Assessment with me.

This will guide us with a movement, exercise, and lifestyle plan that I will email to you. I strive to educate clients on our findings and their effect on your pain and activities. We will plan for 1 hour follow up sessions as necessary. My goal is to give you the tools required to gain independence and not require extensive follow up visits.
