Acute Ankle Sprain

Short Term Goal: restore ankle ROM, decrease inflammation, decrease STRs.
Long Term Goal: Improve ankle stability.

 

Acute:

  1. ROM exercises: circles CW/CCW, ABCs

  2. Inversion/Eversion 

  3. Heel Raises seated

  4. Intrinsic Foot Strengthening 

  5. Mobilize tissue lateral malleolus/peroneals Gua Sha Tools
